working on song 22

ok, so i got 21 songs mixed up for our stoop record that will never be done. number 22 just needs real vocals and real drums to sound all pretty like.

colin's been playing synth with us, it's pretty cool. he recorded a bunch of improvs that we've been doing, and some of it sounds all right, y'all can check it out in 20 years when we do the box set, right.

still no luck finding a bass player, or getting any interest at all. is it because they go to the myspace and go like, wow these kids are the suck, or what?

i'm obsessed with sanjaya malakar. i've never given a shit nor watched american idol before, but this kid, aside from being so adorably cute, has got some star power and charismatic voodoo going on. i just want to eat him. and such great hair too! fuck the singing competition, he's got a voice and whatever. oh hear i am on my dumb blog gushing about american idol. he'd have my vote, if i could be bothered to figure out how to vote, but i don't watch that shit.

i need to record vox for song 22. but everyone at the house is asleep, so i don't want to wake them with my off-key caterwauling and such. i also need to work i words for a new song that the three of us made up the other day. it's all like two chords. that seems to be colin's thing, two chords back and forth. it's kinda cool, a simplified approach, leads to new avenues and such bullshit, yar, jamming. i have a desire to listen to black flag, so i think i'll see if my roommate still still has some that haven't been stolen years ago.
